A lot of people don't know that many activities at The Bascom are entirely free, such as viewing our exhibitions or enjoying our nature trail. The Bascom is for everyone, from all walks of life.
Check out three free exhibitions right now at The Bascom: "Cat Chow: Beyond Fiber Art" in the Loft Gallery (through Oct. 10), "Southern Landscapes by Lamar Dodd and Will Henry Stevens" in the Main Gallery (through Oct. 17), and "Dave Russell: Stacked Stone Sculpture," outdoors (through Oct. 30). Hours are Tu-Sat 10-5. Bring friends! Don't forget our cafe and shop.
This Saturday, 9/12, at The Bascom, join us for our needlework circle, which meets 10-12 (free) and Fayne Ansley's “Botanical Sketching and Watercolors” from 2-4 (low cost). Just show up! No pre-registration is necessary. You can also call 828.526.4949 ext. 100 or visit www.thebascom.org for more details.
Spread the word about The Bascom -- your community center for the visual arts, open to all.
